Tips on productivity and be relaxed at the same time!

During this whole lockdown, a lot of people have mixed emotions so here are few tips to stay productive because I bet it's hard to decide what to do during this time. To ether be super protictive or to relax. You can balance it out now!

) Tips on being productive

>Time management

I think that the first thing to do to be productive is to know how to use your time wisely and when you have a lot of school work and other important tasks to do, you need to know what comes first and what to do. So what I do is when the week starts, on monday is when i get half of my assignments for the week. So I like to finish up the assignments that are due on that day and the assignments that are due the next and so on. I like to finish the easiest assignments first so that it is more convenient.

>Timing

Having specific timings can help you sort out your work and schedule. Doing work when you feel like it is also important because that is when you can actually concentrate. Of course, you should not wait till the last minute to do your work. One thing that helps a lot of people is making a schedule. That helps because you would have something to follow. Set aside some time to relax and focus on your work first!

< Procrastinating

This is a big problem for a lot of people and obviously you can't stop right away. But it is very important to do so. Like I said before, waiting till the last minute can lead to many things. First of, you can get very overwhelmed and that's when stress happens. Try doing your assignments early so that you have time to focus on other things. Another thing can happen is when you procrastinate, you will pilled with other work you have to do. That's just stressful! (trust me I have been there.)

) Relax! (even though you won't need any tips on it, here it is anyway!)

>Take breaks

For someone like me, i don't take a lot of breaks and i have learned that it is very important. It helps you calm down and gets your mind to be fresh again. After i do a long assignment, i usually keep on going. But when you take breaks, your mind refreshes and when you come back to it, you will feel fresh and ready to do the next thing. While you are on you break, your mind wonders off into something else which is less stressful. When you start reading, or playing an instrument, or doing something that makes you happy, the left side of your brain starts working giving you right side (the side you do work) a break!

> Do what you love

Besides taking a break, take a day off! Especially in this time, don't do anything for a day. Do what you love, like watching youtube, writing a blog (hehe), taking to friends, reading, etc. It's always good to get your mind of something. do something on the internet if that makes you happy! But you should balance it out at the same time. Take a day to yourself and focus on what your body needs!

> Go outside!!!!!

What I mean by this, is that go outside for a walk or to the garden! (with safety precautions) rest your eyes because we keep on looking at the screen. We do school online, look at our phones, always doing something on the internet. It is important to give your eyes a rest. When I went outside after two months, I almost forgot how the fresh air felt! Fell the nature touch your body. (wow I never knew I could write something like that! XD)
