Hello everyone! Wishing all of you a very happy New Year! For today's post, I want to talk about New Year resolutions!


I know a lot of people don't do New Year's resolutions but I think it is important to do so.


So i'll be talking about how you can make resolutions which you can keep throughout the years and why they are important.

) Why are they important?

( They help you plan for the upcoming years and help you plan out the main goals you are willing to do. It helps to organize your priorities through the years. You should think about the main things you want to do and are willing to complete by the end of that year. It's like planning out what you are going to do in a day but instead a year with small goals. These also help you become a better person and to achieve your main goal!

+ Tip 1- Do it!

Take some time out of a day (like the 31st) and think about all the things you want to do. It takes a lot of time to think about things that you want to do but don't procrastinate and just do it! Be passionate about what you put in there and don't do it just for the sake of it.

+ Tip 2- Choose the main things

Only put things which you are willing to do and will do it. Don't make it like a whole page cause you wont be able to remember it all and actually do it. Also put meaningful stuff like "work out everyday for 30mins". You should also be specific like saying "Stop eating more than 3 snacks a day" instead of "stop eating snacks". You should do this because that will give you a clear understanding of what you wanted to do.

+Tip 3- Actually do it

This is something that everyone lacks on. Actually doing it! I think that you have to be determined and passionate about doing it. It's not something you keep doing for only a week or so, but it's something you keep up for the whole year! That is why it is important to write things which you can do.

+Tip 4- Keep it short

This also important because like i said, if you keep it long, then you won't be able to do everything on your list. You should keep it short so that you can fully understand what you wrote down and you can actually do it. You should have about 10 things which are short but also doable. That is just something that i do to keep myself organized and clear throughout the year.

Some ideas for a resolution are:

  1. Exercise (could be specific according to your comfort)

  2. Reduce the intake of junk food or sweets (could be specific according to your comfort)

  3. More time with family (could be specific according to your comfort)

  4. Focus more about myself (could be specific according to your comfort)

  5. Being a better person in general (could be specific according to your comfort)
